Virtual Support Groups for Life’s Hardest Moments
Many people carry difficult experiences quietly. Illness, caregiving, grief, loneliness, and major life changes can leave people feeling isolated or emotionally overwhelmed, even when surrounded by others.
SpirituWell Support Circles are designed to offer something simple but meaningful: a place to talk, listen, reflect, and connect with people who understand.
Our virtual support groups are accessible from home by video, making it easier to participate regardless of location, mobility, energy level, or schedule.
A Different Kind of Support Group
Support Circles are not lectures or large anonymous webinars. They are small guided groups where participants have space to share experiences, reflect on difficult emotions, and support one another in a respectful and compassionate environment.
Groups are facilitated by professional healthcare chaplains experienced in emotional support, grief support, spiritual care, serious illness, caregiving, and life transitions.
Some participants join because they are grieving. Others are caring for a loved one, living with illness, navigating uncertainty, or searching for connection during a difficult season of life.
You do not need to identify with a particular religion or spiritual tradition to participate.
Online Grief and Emotional Support Groups
SpirituWell Support Circles may include groups focused on:
- Grief after the death of a loved one
- Caregiver stress and burnout
- Living with cancer or chronic illness
- Emotional support during serious illness
- Loneliness and isolation
- Spiritual questions and meaning-making
- Life transitions and identity changes
- Processing uncertainty, fear, or loss
Each group is designed to create a supportive and emotionally safe environment where participants can speak honestly without pressure to “have it all together.”
Why Small Groups Matter
We intentionally keep groups small so participants can be known, heard, and supported.
Large online spaces can sometimes feel impersonal. Smaller groups allow for deeper conversation, trust, continuity, and genuine human connection over time.
Many participants find comfort simply in realizing they are not alone in what they are experiencing.
Accessible Support From Home
All groups are virtual and can be joined from home using a computer.
This makes support more accessible for people who:
- Have limited mobility or energy
- Live far from in-person support groups
- Have caregiving responsibilities
- Feel more comfortable participating from home
- Are looking for flexible emotional or spiritual support
No special background or experience is needed to participate.
