We serve patients by addressing their spiritual, emotional, and existential needs.
Chaplains offer guidance, comfort, and encouragement, helping patients navigate difficult medical decisions, coping with illness, and finding meaning in their experiences. Chaplains may be called upon by patients when learning of a life-changing diagnosis or prognosis, when experiencing acute trauma or sudden decline in health, or when nearing end-of-life. Wherever patients are in their spiritual and health journeys, chaplains can facilitate discussions about spirituality, faith, beliefs, and values.
